What they’re looking for:
•Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified license (national certifications must be credentialed through WA State Department of Health)
•Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a Pediatric setting
•Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record systems, with a preference for Epic
•Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR certification
Hours and compensation potential:
•Full-time position in Pediatrics, with hours from 7:45am-5:15pm
•Compensation ranging from $21-$35.50/hr based on experience, with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends
•Comprehensive benefits package, including up to $5k in relocation assistance and up to $5k sign-on bonus
What you’ll be doing:
•Provide assistance to providers and clinic healthcare team members by performing various back-office and patient-related tasks to ensure seamless patient workflow
•Perform patient care procedures within scope of practice as defined by facility under Washington State certification, such as injections, EKG's, ear lavage, blood draws, and vital sign measurement
•Manage rooming and patient flow, including pre-visit preparation, assisting with patient visits, and post-visit duties, as well as communicating schedule changes to providers
