Promotional possibilities exist, potentially leading to managerial positions for those interested. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assessing customer requirements
- Designing custom industrial automation machines
- Developing electrical control systems and power distribution
- Creating electrical hardware designs
- Programming robots, servos, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Collaborating with Vision Systems
- Conducting testing procedures
- Servicing and maintaining custom machines
- Preparing quotes for customers
- Traveling, potentially up to 50% of the time, including international travel
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of four years of experience in custom machine design
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- At least three years of experience in electrical hardware design
- At least three years of experience in programming robots, HMIs, and PLCs
- At least three years of Vision Systems experience
- The ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel
- A proven track record of professional success
- United States citizenship or Green Card holder status
- A residence located within a 45-minute commute to the Pewaukee area
