Role: Narrow Web Flexo Operator
Shifts:
- 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 10 PM
- 3rd Shift: Monday to Friday, 10 PM to 6 AM
Location: Relocation assistance is available for candidates outside of Saint Louis, MO.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a Mark Andy P9 press with a width of 17 inches and 12-color capability, handling Hot and Cold foil stamping. Also operate a Gallus Label Master press with a width of 13 inches and 14-color capability.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the press, while adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Perform press setup, job changeovers, and necessary maintenance tasks.
- Monitor printing processes, making adjustments as needed to maintain consistent print quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any press-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other members of the production team to meet deadlines and production schedules.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating similar presses (Comco, Webtron, Omet) is highly desirable.
- Proficient in flexographic printing techniques and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain precise color consistency.
- Familiarity with Hot and Cold foil stamping processes is a plus.
- Willingness to work on either 2nd or 3rd shift with a flexible schedule.
