Assistant Director of Nursing
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to take on the role of Assistant Director of Nursing at our reputable facility located in Brooklyn, NY. This crucial position presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to make a meaningful impact on patient care quality and operational efficiency within the Internal Medicine Surgery department.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and supervising daily nursing operations to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Lead and guide nursing staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous growth.
- Develop, implement, and assess nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and departmental productivity.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
- Perform performance evaluations and offer coaching and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Active New York State RN license required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing with at least 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or educational role, or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with 6 years of experience, including 4 years in a supervisory or educational role.
- Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively inspire and manage a diverse team.
