Responsibilities
• Lead key aspects of the monthly closing process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and planning
• Oversee fixed assets, depreciation, and project accounting
• Collaborate with different departments to support business objectives
• Participate in audits and tax-related activities
• Propose and implement process improvements in accounting and reporting
Requirements
• CPA certification
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, or public accounting for such clients
• Proficiency in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end procedures
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Desire for professional growth and career advancement
Must have permanent US work authorization
Location or willingness to relocate to: Central Illinois - 2 hours South of Chicago
